Sizing Guide

Sizing

When sizing to buy wrist jewellery this site refers to bangles, cuffs and bracelets.

A bangle is a solid round or oval.  A cuff is a solid form with a gap either front of back for putting it on.  A bracelet opens and closes with a clasp.

Bangle Sizing

A bangle size is determined by the size of your hand, not your wrist.
Tuck your thumb into the palm of your hand, and towards your little finger, as if you are about to put on a bangle.
With a flexible measuring tape, measure around your hand at the widest part – over the knuckles.

This will ensure that the bangle can fit over the widest part of your hand but fit comfortably for wearing.

Use the chart below to choose your size.

Alternatively - if you own a bangle that fits well, measure the the internal diameter, taking care to place the tape/ruler inside the metal edge (mm's make a lot of difference in jewellery).  Make a note of the diameter for future reference and choose your size based on this = 58mm - XS / 61mm - S / 64mm - M / 67mm - L / 70mm - XL.

Bracelet Sizing

Hinged bangles or bracelets are designed to fit a little closer to the wrist.

With a flexible measuring tape, measure snugly around your wrist, above your wrist bone.

For a comfort fit add between 20 – 35mm depending on how loose you like to wear your bracelets.

Use the chart below to choose your size.

Cuff Sizing

With a flexible measuring tape, measure around the wrist – close to the wrist but not pulling the tape tight.

Deduct 30mm for the cuff gap.

Use the chart below to choose your size.
