The Greenman Necklace
This sterling silver Green Man has been handmade by me.
Hand carved both front and back, this is a gorgeous statement necklace. It is hung on a string of faceted Prehnite gemstone beads and finished with a handmade clasp, hand woven with sterling silver wire and adorned with Prehnite.
The Green Man is approximately 39mm long by 36mm at the widest point.
His glorious size makes him ideal to sit on the decolletage. As such, in the images the gemstone chain is 17" long, including the clasp.
Nature inspired yet steeped in folklore that tells us that the Oak Father represents the cycle of life, divinity, loyalty and renewal.
In these modern times many have adopted the Green Man as a symbol of ecological awareness.
The Green Man has many followers the world over for whom this would be a perfect gift.
The pendant has been oxidised to highlight the detail and then polished for the finish.
