Twig Bangle
A fabulous handmade sterling silver bangle.
These bangles have been made using a twig picked up outside the workshop. A mould has been made and bangles created with molten silver.
This is a chunky bangle that is nevertheless easy to wear - between 3 -4mm thick.
Various options are available:-
Frosted - like a winterland twig.
Polished - after being oxidised which highlights all the natural details of the twig.
With gold - twigs with pretty orange lichen (Xanthoria parietina) which is represented on the bangle with 24ct gold fused to the silver. The bangle has been oxidised to highlight the natural detail.
Black - the sterling silver has been oxidised and left black, then treated to preserve the colour.
